Dual IMAX Digital fun
Although it's not of this year, IMAX Digital 3D is the next step in large format digital projection, and I'll have my eyes and ears on it this week.
It has been on scene for some years, a few silent years. There was no big-bang entailing it, so that makes me a bit wary. Has it the detail of the analogue 70 mil IMAX print, at least for the naked eye? We'll see. What pros I expect are of course less dust, no scratches and an image as steady as the hands of Buffalo Bill.
