Who's your favourite?
There are times in the world of movies when two films are so similar that you begin to wonder if it's coincidence, or maybe the same scripment went through several studios, and more than one saw the spark in the project. Think Armageddon vs. Deep Impact, Antz vs A Bug's Life or Saving Private Ryan vs. The Thin Red Line.
Or more recent: Megamind vs. Despicable Me. Which one do you prefer, and why? And what about these too-much-alike movies, are they the case of stolen ideas or same themes emerging like some sub-conscious common thought in the vein of Yeti vs Sasquatch?
